Promax2009 was the best for years, and our Thursday evening party with PUK was a great success. Several hundred creative types quaffed a decent vino at Vinopolis until we drew the raffle for a Mac Book Pro, which was won by Peta Yaxley of Teachers TV. Peta is pictured receiving her award from Matt Scarfe, Promax co-chair, with Repertoire’s Simon James and PUK organiser Marc Ortmans on the mic. Hangovers all round the next day of course, when after a full conference programme, we did it all over again at the Awards at the Hilton. Thank God these things are only once a year!
